Pricing and Serving Details:

City Cakes' custom cakes are charged based on serving size and begin at $8 per slice for buttercream cakes and $10 per slice for fondant cakes. The price will then be configured based off design complexity and labor involved. All communication is done via email in order to keep a written record of details and information needed to provide the best finished product. Once a quote request form is submitted, our team will follow up within 24-48 hours with availability and pricing.

Our cakes begin at 9 inches, with a minimum serving size of 25. Please understand that any structured or 3D cakes will begin at $500 and go up depending on design concept, materials needed, and amount of work that goes into the build.

 

Ingredients:

City Cakes does NOT claim to be a nut-free, dairy-free, soy-free, sugar-free, wheat-free, or gluten-free facility. For you own safety we recommend anyone with highly allergic reactions or Celiac Disease to take caution when consuming our products and at their own risk.

 

Tastings:

Once a request form is submitted and the cake has been confirmed with our team, you have the option of scheduling an in-person consultation and tasting. During the consultation, all details, concepts, and flavors will be finalized. The tasting portion of the consultation will include up to three cakes and three filling flavors of your choice from the options listed below. A tasting is typically arranged for two people, however a third person may be accommodated if discussed before the appointment date.

Consultations are free of charge, however we require a valid credit card on file in order to book the appointment as insurance of a last minute cancellation. If there is a need to cancel or reschedule, this must be done at least 24 hours in advance. If cancellations are made with less than 24 hour warning, a $25 charge per person will be incurred.

Refunds & Credits

Almost all of our items are FINAL SALE, due to the edible nature of the item. We do not guarantee the shipment estimations set forth by USPS, as they are guidelines not guarantees - this helps keep your shipping charges lower. Our cookies last for weeks due to natural preservatives and thus a few days delay won't make a big difference to freshness.

If there is a discrepancy in your order, we must be contacted prior to consumption and both images and samples are required for any credit or refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days, minus any shipping charges. This is to be determined based on the situation and at the discretion of management.

If you have made an error in the delivery address or we have trouble reaching the recipient for whatever reason, it is your responsibility to file the claim with USPS. It is not the responsibility of City Cakes to guarantee delivery if your address or recipient information is incorrect or unavailable.

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged or you need a new size. If you need to exchange it for the same item or a different size, send us an email at admin@citycakes.com and send your item to: City Cakes EXCHANGES, 251 West 18th Street Lower Level, New York New York US 10011.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
